Cycling from Greece to Spain

Jessica and I will be be pushing our peddles to the pavement with an awareness project of peace; no doubt a ride we  will never forget, and one which our bodies will be taken to places they have never felt or seen before.

Beautiful Jessica , 22-year-old adventurer and lover of exploration, believes anything is possible. Jessica has a few months to spare before she is to take on her exchange program at a university in Spain. She just loves a challenge and combining this with an epic journey is the perfect opportunity to test her emotional and physical compass. “I’m just a normal girl, consciously living life to the fullest. I want to spread the message that there is absolutely nothing standing in the way of people to achieve whatever they set their minds to. The world I have seen is a truly welcoming place when you take the time to discover and appreciate its beauty’.

As our two worlds collided, I was ignited by the adventure and decided to roll with Jess.  ‘I have  been dictated by fear most of my life, now I just use fear as fuel to evolve beyond them, so you could say, I am friends with it.  What a great project, doing something to bring awareness of the reality that everyday people, like ourselves have a drive to see peace in humanity. A bike is a great way to explore and expand, others thought there were plenty of other ways, but living beyond what I already know, is where I love to live. It’s going to be tough, no doubt, but hey, I love seeing where this life rolls and being in it, living it and loving it, is something that I now choose to do. So why not? Peace can’t be ignored anymore, we all can contribute to peace by being responsible for our own, the more people that do that, the more we will see that in the world around us. Conflict, abuse, war, hate, blame and shame are human beings reacting in their small minds, it’s time to evolve beyond that and wake up, we can’t continue the insanity of these reactions – we will kill ourselves.’

With over 3500 kilometres and seven countries ahead, us two girls are up for some big hills and laughs, sore bums, new friends, staggering landscapes and whatever else their revolving wheels bring. ‘We both love people, connecting and sharing. We believe that communicating with an open heart is a powerful place to be. So with our quirky signs, youtube clips, sharing the space of peace and valuing the simple things in life, we are surely going to have a few stories to share’. Jess heads out from Athens and I meet up with her in Corfu, love this life. Revolving to evolve for peace is a cool awareness project.
