Opening up to all of you
Life moves in mysterious ways and can present us as individuals with personal experiences that sometimes question what on earth is this life all about anyway? Why is it children can be exposed to such awful experiences, families be fighting, adults acting like kids and murder, war and greed are part of what we call life? Why is it hate, poverty, separation, depression and loneliness can be experienced by so many individuals, when the world has never been so populated? Aren’t we supposed to of become more intelligent? Well going by the cycle of destructive behaviors, whether it be with the self or the planet, we as a collective, seem to be stuck in patterns that aren’t serving humanity.
Well it’s time to jump into the space of possibility, potential and peace with the tool of this fabulous evolved human brain. You see, the modalities of repeated behaviors, which don’t serve our life experience, are just individuals operating under our old system of our mind. Reactive fight, flight or freeze response and dictated by our emotions. This outdated system served us at one point of evolution, but now we have the magic of the evolved human brain where, ‘choice’ over our reactions can be experienced to expose personal power.
There are many reasons we behave like we do and if we want reasons – why we should be angry, sad, jealous, irritated, frustrated, we will find proof everywhere. But the sooner we open up to being, where constant expansion can be experienced, the quicker we can question our reactive spaces of human conditioning, which contract our life experience. You see, our conditioning, beliefs and perceptions are so ingrained, that we find it hard to see beyond what we already know, which in turn creates what we have seen, over and over. So the stuck spaces of our personal repetitive behaviors, are just the same as the stuck spaces you see governments, religions, businesses, etc. So are we doomed to continue the patterns of our past?
Great news guys, no we are not’. Yay, yay, yay. So there is hope for the addicted, depressed, abused, suppressed, anxious and anyone who just wants to live a life of fulfillment. There is hope for countries, governments, religions, races, communities, families to live also in the space of potential with peace passion and purpose. As each of us take responsibility as individuals to internal freedom, the ripple effect of that, will no doubt be reflected in the world, each of us experience. Operating in the new space of the evolved brain is creating new systems for the self, which serves not only the individual, but humanity as a whole.
Being curious to be curious about who we are, is when life can really start show a different reality beyond the one we are seeing. With the fabulous tools of technology we can have information at the click of a button. We don’t have to be scientists to have this information, we now have Google and You tube.
Be curious to be curious – some suggestions for surfing the net
- Looking at research in neuroscience, plasticity of the brain. Neural pathways.
- Sensory body awareness.
- Practicing presence – mindfulness.
- Understanding the adrenal system and what play it has with wellbeing.
- Learning what emotions are and using them to serve our life experience rather than reacting, which contract it.
- Meditation – use it as a tool to develop our awareness.
Unfolding to the self, allows those reasons for reactive states of contraction to wash away. When we start to question our reactive states, like thoughts, emotions, beliefs etc, we can start to see beyond them. Our reactive states are conditionings, they are not who we are, but patterns of biochemical reactions.. Opening up to all of the self isn’t about changing the mind – it’s opening it. Opening up to the self isn’t about acquiring new beliefs – it’s stripping back the old ones.
Taking responsibility for me completely and how I choose to see, sense and be in this world has transformed this life of mine. Opening me up to things I didn’t even know I didn’t know, with a continuous space of questioning, where the dance with all of me, rather than the limited me, is now my experience. Does it take a bit of work? Yes. – Is it worth it? Yes, Yes, Yes.
Recently I found myself in a conversation with a gentleman who expressed how amazing and wonderful that I was ‘a survivor’ of sexual abuse. I smiled and shared – ‘beautiful man, I was experiencing a life of survival, I have now opened up to a larger life experience of liberation, freedom and love, this is no longer survival – this is living.’
Internal peace is personal power; we all just have to be curious about that for no other reason than – Why not?
